Shop Fabricator / Welder

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Read shop drawings, architectural plans, and construction details
• Layout, measure, cut, fit, weld, and assemble fabricated components
• Fabricate gates, ornamental fencing, railings, frames, and miscellaneous steel
• Experience with MIG welding, grinding, cutting, drilling, and fabrication equipment
• Maintain accurate dimensions, tolerances, alignment, and finish quality
• Identify potential fabrication or field conflicts before they become problems
• Coordinate with Project Managers and field crews
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area
• Properly maintain tools and equipment
• Follow company safety procedures
